The costumers and traditions of Maracaibo distinguish us from many places around the world. Our gastronomy is unique, not only because of the plates that are served but also because of the way, and the context in which each is eaten. Also the parties in our city are extremely different. You can enjoy a typical city disco, and party like in the develop cities, and enjoy the parties made in the streets of the principle roads. Anything you prefer is possible in this town. But the characteristic that pops out in comparison to all of those is the one that distinguishes us from any Venezuelan: our accent. The way we talk is definably the most defining characteristic of being from this town, and not only the accent, but the phrases that we use, the words, and many other this communicated orally, are a patrimony of our culture.
